Back in October Elite experienced Texecom training, a two days course on the Premier Elite intruder systems where Elite achieved Advanced accreditation. Excellent training from Matthew Irwin, who although engineers were throwing problems and scenarios, could not be thwart he always had a logical and concise answer.

Texecom was Established in 1986, it began as a privately-owned company, designing developing and manufacturing motion sensors for electronic security systems.

In 2005 Texecom was acquired by Halma PLC who have a portfolio of companies that are lifesaving technology companies Apollo Fire Detectors Ltd included. Halma PLC have a global foot hold in the industry. The companies provide innovative solutions to many of the key problems facing the world today including preventable blindness.

From 1986 to 2005 Texecom had grown into a sizable and international contender in the security industry. There products scaled from the smallest and simplest security applications through to largest and most complex. Based in Haslingden, Lancashire they manufacture all its products in-house across two sites based in the North West of England.

Texecom produce a range of control panels for residential and commercial properties these include;

The Premier control panels was sold in this country but is now discontinued in the UK and superseded by the Premier Elite

They also have an extensive range of detectors, too many to show just one or two.

Texecom Connect

Connect is the APP for controlling your system, wherever you are in the world and also getting notifications from your system of events that are happening, for example Amy just disarmed the system, meaning she is home from school. All time and date stamped.

Home Automation is a feature of the Premier Elite panels, combined with the APP you are able to create Recipes that enable you to create bespoke scenarios.
(scenario) If it is after 6.30pm and the front door is opened (ie you are coming into an empty house) then as the front door opens, the lamp standing in the hallway will switch on. There are endless scenarios that could be created using the Texecom Smart Plug, APP and Panel
