Eaton / Scantronic will be launching upgraded and remodelled devices featuring the new Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR) platform. SSR introduces advanced two-way encrypted communication, extended device lifespans, and simplified maintenance—while remaining fully backward compatible with existing Eaton systems.
 

🔐 What is Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR)?

SSR is a bidirectional, cybersecure communication system that transforms devices into both transmitters and receivers. This innovation delivers:

• Enhanced system security with AES128 encryption
• Remote monitoring and diagnostics via Eaton SecureConnect
• Faster event transmission and response times
• Extended battery life (up to double previous lifespans)
• Backwards compatibility with existing Eaton panels
• Minimal signal interference
• Over-the-air firmware updates for futureproofing

New WPS Router Pairing

 

 

• WPS button setup – no engineer callout required
• Developed to meet BS9263:2016 standards
• Remote servicing replaces bi-annual site visits
• Integrated with Eaton SecureConnect for automated reporting and installer guidance

Remote Servicing

Developed to meet the requirements of BS9263:2016, this feature allows to replace bi-annual physical (site visit) maintenance service.
Eaton Secure Connect will analyses the report and the installer will advise you about rectifying the system.
